Somer Athari embodies the success story of a professional who has expanded her craft by exploring various positions in the company. With over 14 years at Noble Studios, Jim Collins could say, she is the right person on the bus.
Somer is a results-driven Solution Architect with extensive experience administering progressive campaigns. With a blend of digital marketing expertise and business acumen, she has a rich understanding of the project planning to launch phases of the process. She has a reputation for being organized, hyper focused on problem solving, dedicated to getting shit done, and being the resident unicorn at Noble.
In 2014, Somer was named a Tech Star by Nevada’s Center for Entrepreneurship. She has also managed more than 45 award-winning projects for some of the agency’s largest clients.
Passionate about the Reno community, Somer is a past president of the Reno-Tahoe American Marketing Association, where she served 5+ years as an active board member. Currently, she is the Community Chair for Reno’s House of Genius.
Somer earned her bachelor’s in English and certificate in Project Management Essentials from the University of Nevada, Reno. She also studied abroad in Alicante, Spain at the Universitat d’Alicant.
Outside of work, Somer is passionate about getting the most out of life. She is obsessed with traveling, having visited 17 different countries, and is always up for trying new things, such as roller derby (she’s currently on the Battle Born Derby Demons home team and is the Marketing Committee Chair), skydiving (five times and counting!), aerial silks, rock climbing and snowboarding.
Co-founder and CEO of Noble Studios Jarrod Lopiccolo has grown the creative digital performance marketing agency from a single-laptop endeavor to an international company serving companies from Tahiti to Las Vegas to the U.K. Noble Studios was founded with a clear mission: “Let’s be better every day.” Jarrod leads with that mission in mind, always inspiring his international team to find new ways to innovate and iterate to make best practices better.
A mentor, father, husband and visionary, Jarrod has led Noble Studios to five consecutive years on Inc. magazine’s 500 | 5000 list of fastest-growing companies in America. With a passion for creating beautiful human experiences, he’s brought his architectural background into the digital marketing work—bringing the best of the real world into virtual architecture. He’s used these skills with brands like Autodesk, The Islands of Tahiti, Niantic Inc., Adobe, Disney, Visa, Google and more. You can spot him across the room with a craft beer in one hand and a notebook in the other, which is always on hand for sketching and ideas (the good and bad ones).
He has held leadership roles with several non-profit and public-private initiatives in Nevada. He previously served as co-Executive Director of the San Francisco/Silicon Valley Inc. Magazine’s Business Owners Council and was an advisory board member for NCET (Nevada Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology). He also served on the board of the Reno-Tahoe American Marketing Association.
Evynn McFalls has been exploring, analyzing, and documenting stories about people, their priorities, and the myriad tools they use to communicate for over a decade. As the Director of Insights and Strategy at The Abbi Agency, he brings his experience as a community/institutional literacy researcher to help organizations, businesses, individuals, and institutions understand their purposes, relationships, goals, and unique value propositions—and transform those insights into strategies and tactics that move the proverbial needle.
For Rick Saake, working in technology is similar to kayaking on a new river: things are always in flux and there’s zero chance of getting bored.
As the Director of Search Marketing for Noble Studios’ Performance Marketing department, Rick provides leadership and expertise in identifying new digital strategies and areas of opportunities for clients. He works closely with Noble’s roster of clients and with Noble team members to clearly understand client goals and business objectives to formulate effective plans. He also will serve as a company resource for the ever-changing best practices of digital marketing.
Having worked with technology since the mid-‘90s, Rick has a particular interest in the impact technology has made on our lives. His philosophy is that working in the tech field requires constant growing, learning, applying, testing and sharing.
Prior to Noble Studios, Rick served as the Internet Marketing Manager for the Reno-Sparks Convention & Visitors Authority and for VisitRenoTahoe.com. He also was the Digital Media Manager at the Reno Gazette-Journal and has owned his own small web design firm, Nternetbiz, since 1995.
He has earned numerous industry awards including several Web Marketing Association awards and multiple ADDYs.
A sixth-generation Nevadan, Rick enjoys spending time with his family, playing Old School video games as well as flying and building drones. He also enjoys foreign travel and gourmet foods.
Steven Z. Smith
Steven brings 7 years of experience in social media marketing and digital content creation. With a background in both analytics and aesthetics, Steven understands the necessity of aligning a brand’s voice with a brand’s overarching goals.
With a background in video production and photography, Steven has created award winning content for North Lake Tahoe, Carmel-by-the-Sea, Vegas.com, Edgewood Tahoe, and many more. Steven also has a background in influencer marketing and has managed campaigns for National Geographic, Naked Juice, Warner Bros., JVC, and many more.
In a career that extends across more than 15 years, Abbi has developed public relations and marketing campaigns for dozens of brands and companies in both the private and public sectors.
Abbi is a veteran of international media campaigns for some of the nation’s largest real estate, tourism and business-to-business companies, including Intrawest, Mammoth Mountain, Squaw Valley USA, Fast Wrap USA and Travel Nevada.
She’s launched national franchise campaigns, turned technology start-ups into industry heavyweights and sold luxury real estate and tourist destinations across the globe. Her clients have been featured in outlets including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, The Early Show and The Today show.
